The first thought that entered my mind the instant my girlfriend dumped me was to speak to her and then try to get her to come back. You have changed and the relationship would be different now. You are a new guy and have come to your senses. It is alright for her to spend time together with her friends occasionally and you’ve come to see everything plainly and trust her completely. You’re prepared to take a step back and grant her a little personal space. Instantly you have come to be a more understanding man.
You dial her up and she responses tactfully but states she is not going to trust you and that she wants a little bit to have a think and choose. All is okay and you hang up, you begin to feel a little more at peace. The following day you wish to spend time with her and have coffee or something like that so you contact her once more. She just can’t go as she is hanging out with some guy in class to study; perhaps another time will work better. It feels like you’ve been stabbed in the heart and you go off the wall working not to think about the both of them kissing over a Chemistry textbook.
You begin contacting her all day long and sending her texts and e-mail and begin to inundate her. Her first conclusion is that you haven’t changed a bit. You’re the same bothersome, immature, insecure guy you were when she broke up with you. She makes a decision that the headache isn’t worth it and gets a different number, black-lists you from her e-mail and you’re alone and isolated after losing your one chance to get her back.
I used to sit in my car and watch her house waiting around for her to arrive just to see who she was with. I would be there for a long time lingering and when she finally showed up I would instantaneously regret it. Just looking at the two of them together had me feel horrible. I could not accept that reality that my girlfriend dumped me. I would attempt to discover where she was going when she would spend time with her friends and I would “just happen to” go there attempting to chat to her and pull her away from her group. She would become nervous and anxious the second she spotted me head into the restaurant or club. She would roll her eyes at her friends and they would get up and go within the next few minutes.
I don’t want you to turn out like I did. I’ll be straightforward with you here, you can win your girlfriend back, but you’ll need to be relaxed over it and you must have a solid approach. When you just do what I did when my girlfriend dumped me, you most likely are really going to wreck your odds.
However horrible the situation may well look, you can save your relationship. You only have to back off a little and provide her some personal space to think about things and provide her a little bit to honestly miss you (take my word, she will miss you eventually). My girlfriend dumped me and I did everything wrong originally, but I finally got everything correctly and rescued our relationship before things got too much beyond control.
The very first and best thing you might do, when you’re feeling like your breakup is making you forcing you over the line is to merely disconnect from your ex. Make the commitment to not call her for 2 to 4 weeks. Make use of that period to improve yourself and get things straight. That’s what I did when my girlfriend dumped me, and yes it was really a turning point for everything.
